About Me

Learn a little more about my life and what drives my creativity.

My passion for art started at a very early age - coloring around the lines before coloring in the object in my coloring books. Eventually I got even better to where I was creating things for 4H. 4H really drove my creativity by giving me categories for artwork and basically making a checklist for all of the different types of art.

Although I love making art and being super creative all the time, one does require a little rest and a source for creativity. In comes stand up paddleboarding. I love SUP and seeing the world from a different perspective. Being out in the sun is one of my favorite hobbies. Whether it is SUP, hiking, or just relaxing in a hammock, I feel recharged.

While in high school I was able to take a lot of art classes (as in physical art), but I took a more digital route. I was able to take a game design class, a specific InDesign class, newspaper, and more. These have all lead me to where I am today. I have traditional and modern experience with art and love both equally for different reasons.

Once I was out of high school I went immediately into the workforce as a server at a restaurant. I worked a couple of jobs before I started college and finally landed a job at Duluth Children's Museum as a museum educator. I love my job and working with the children so much, but I need more room to grow artistically.

This is where I am today. Looking for a career opportunity to finally get to spread my wings.
