Graphic Design Portfolio
Here you can view my graphic design portion of my portfolio. Most of these were made in class, but I do have a few items that were for clients.

Sleepy Dog Cannabis Co.
Sleepy Dog Cannabis Company was created during my Advanced Layout and Design class. The assignment was to make a product and then showcase it with a mockup of our final product. Living with an aunt who had cancer, you get to know all about marijuana packaging. This company was based on what my aunt uses: Indica strains only. So that is what Sleepy Dog Cannabis Co. is all about.

My original idea for this app was to also put in a dice randomizer into it, but it was way above my skill level in Figma. This project was a little challenging as I've never worked in Figma before this. Figma is definitely a learning curve.

Wedding Event Mailer
This class project was to make direct mailers. We were given a list of "companies" to make mailers for, and I chose the Wedding Fair of North Carolina as mine. I've always been interested in wedding invites and other things that come with putting on a wedding, so this was a fun little challenge.

Bloom & Co. Business Card Design
This was a part of a list of prompts that I decided to do. I wanted to continue showing off my skills and to do that I needed client prompts. The prompt was to create a business card for a florist with a modern chic look.

The Body Keeps The Score Book Cover ReDesign
This book design was another part of the Advanced Layout and Design class. I used a drawing program, Krita, to make the front and back covers and InDesign to do the rest. The project also required a chapter page but I decided to do a bit more because I was having so much fun doing this assignment.

Duluth Children's
Museum Magazine
This magazine was another class assignment where we had to make a magazine cover and one spread. Here I chose the place that I currently work at: the Duluth Children's Museum. This was a special magazine that I made to show off their plans for the continuation of the museum. The original text was long and in big paragraphs, so I summarized them and then made them into a magazine for the museum to hand out to guests.
Duluth Children's
Museum Signage
These signs are a part of a grant that the museum received to make signage for around the museum. The requirements for the signs were to have English, Spanish, and Ojibwe translations. The colors and shapes directly come from DCM's brand guidelines and are incorporated throughout all of the signage. We wanted to unify the museum through our branding and show it off a bit.

Minnesota North
Holiday Card
Minnesota North College put a challenge out to the Graphic Design classes to design a holiday card to be sent out by email. Out of 11 students that submitted the assignment, I was chosen to represent Minnesota North College with a holiday card. The rules were no religions, use the brand colors correctly, and use Minnesota North's imagery to make the holiday card. I honestly had so much fun manipulating the college's original design to create a winter scene.

Minnesota North
Graduation Program
Minnesota North yet again set out a challenge for the Graphic Design classes. We had to make the cover for the graduation program. This program would be handed out the day of graduation and include all of the graduates. It was extremely fun creating this, and out of 11 participants, I was the one selected. Another one in the books for Minnesota North College!
For another Adobe Illustrator assignment, we had to make two maps. One map was going to be centered around Minnesota, and the other one was one of my choosing. I chose to do a fantasy top down map of a fictional island. I struggled with doing the top down map, but the Minnesota one was fairly simple and easy to do.

Vectorized Screen Print Sketch
In first year of Graphic Design Media we were able to draw sketches for the second year students to vectorize and then screen print them onto t-shirts. As a second year student, I was able to vectorize this student's design. I had a lot of fun doing it too, as the teeth weren't too clear I could take a bit of creative freedom with it.
Personal Brand Development

As one of our final projects, we had to make our own personal brand. This brand could've been for ourselves and our businesses, or this brand could've been another "business" not related to us. I decided to choose my own personal brand. This is where I came up with Red Lip Design. I started with a moodboard, then went onto sketches (raster), and then finally vector sketches and putting together my brand.
